He was a truck driver for Eastern Bakery prior to WWll when he joined and went overseas. He returned in 1945 and went to work for the City of Saint John driving truck and retired from there driving a bulldozer at Howes Lake Land fill. He played in a band for awhile, he played an accordian but also dabbled in quitar and mouth organ.
