OBITUARY: Kenneth W. Knight The Idaho Statesman | Edition Date: April 19, 2004 Kenneth W. Knight, 90, of Boise died on Friday, April 16, 2004 in Boise. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 24 at the Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel, Boise. Rev. Susan Howe of New Plymouth Congregational Church will officiate. Inurnment will take place at Dry Creek Cemetery. Kenneth was born in the New Plymouth Congregational Church parsonage, where his grandfather was the minister, on Oct. 9, 1913, the son of Elwin Bruce and Emma May (Miller) Knight. He attended elementary school in Meridian and New Plymouth and graduated from New Plymouth High School. He married Nora Zona Harris on Dec. 30, 1935 in Greenleaf, Idaho. Kenneth worked for Morrison Knudsen at Anderson Ranch Dam in 1940. He served in the U.S. Navy in Okinawa, Japan during World War II. Besides living in New Plymouth and Boise he also lived in Casa Grande, Ariz. before retiring and returning to Boise. Kenneth enjoyed fishing and camping. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge. Kenneth is survived by his two daughters and sons-in-law, Colleen and Fred Nussbaumer and Connie and Howard Sattler; two grandchildren, Nora Russo and Fred Nussbaumer and his wife Norma; three great-grandchildren, Kendall Russo, Samantha Nussbaumer and Nicholas Nussbaumer; a very good friend Isobel Carr; and numerous nieces and nephews. His wife Nora Knight and eight brothers and sisters preceded him in death. Memorials may be made in Kenneth´s name to a favorite charity of your choice.
