Kenneth E. Kilpatrick Sr., 72, retired conductor

Kenneth E. Kilpatrick Sr., 72, 4050 Brookside Drive, N.W., died at his home at 12:35 p.m. Tuesday.
He was born here June 10, 1912, the son of Joseph E. and Hazel Clemmens Kilpatrick.
Before retiring in 1965, Mr. Kilpatrick was an Erie Railroad conductor for 35 years. He was a security guard for Lutz Steel Corp. for 17 years, retiring in 1984.
He was a member of Brotherhood of Erie Conductors and Brakemen.
Survivors include his wife, Loretta Silk Kilpatrick, whom he married Oct. 19, 1935; a son, Kenneth Jr., and a sister, Edith Sanky, of Warren; and six grandchildren.
The funeral will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at McCardell-White Funeral Home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Bristolville.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
