Newspaper Article - 1948 Fisher is District Traffic Superintendent of Phone Co. The New York Telephone company announces the appointment of Kenneth H. Fisher as district traffic superintendent of the Watertown district with headquarters, 170 Stone Street. The appointment became effective Nov. 1.

Following graduation from Cornell University in 1928, Mr. Fisher entered the employ of the Telephone company as student engineer in New York city, Sept. 17, 1928. On Oct. 8, 1928, he was assigned the position of commercial agent in Buffalo. He later held positions as manager in the Buffalo business office and commercial engineer in Albany. During February, 1942, he was transferred to the traffic department as traffic superintendent, Buffalo suburban-north, and later became traffic superintendent of the Rochester toll office. In October, 1945, he was appointed division traffic supervisor of the western division and comes to Watertown from that location.

Mr. Fisher has had wide experience in the telephone business. His new assignment includes supervision of the telephone traffic service and the traffic employee personnel in those central offices in Jefferson and St. Lawrence counties constituting the Watertown traffic district area. He succeeds Floyd M. Tesnow who was appointed division traffic supervisor, Syracuse, effective Nov. 1.
