Keith Edward Stewart, only son of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Stewart, was born near Menlo, Iowa, November 6, 1936, and departed this life while undergoing a mastoid operation at the Methodist hospital in Des Moines December 14, 1939, at the tender age of 3 years, 1 month and 8 days. He leaves to mourn his passing his devoted father and mother; four grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Shaefer and Mr. and Mrs. Roland Stewart; six great grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Wolf, of Guthrie Center, Mr. and Mrs. Jess Leeper, of Massena, Iowa, Mr. and Mrs. Monroe Stewart, as well as a host of other relatives and friends. Keith was always a sweet and loving little boy with a cheerful smile for all. He will be greatly missed by his parents who devoted their life in making him happy. The companionship of this loving child will leave an empty spot in our home which can never be filled. Funeral services were held from the M. E. church here conducted by Rev. B. F. Hamilton. Interment was in the Morrisburg cemetery.
