Kay married Lloyd Surface on December 29, 1959 and he preceded her in death in 2021.

She was a faithful member of Anthony Wayne First Church of God. Kay enjoyed playing cards, gardening, being outdoors and camping.

Funeral service 1:00pm, Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home with visitation from 11:00am to 1:00pm prior to the service. Entombment in Covington Memorial Gardens.
