Gerald Francis Brammell, 85, Fort Wayne, died at 9 p.m. August 2, 2001, at the Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne.
Mr. Brammell farmed for many years in Clinton County before he moved to Fort Wayne to work for a friend. He also worked at General Electric as a chauffeur for 17 years.
Mr. Brammell was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fort Wayne and also enjoyed woodworking.
He was born July 1, 1916, in Boyleston, to Walter and Ida Mann Brammell. He married Zora Lucille Laughner on August 5, 1936, and she survives.
Surviving is a daughter, Kay Surface of Fort Wayne.
Mr. Brammell is preceded in death by one sister, one brother and one grandson.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Genda Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Beasley officiating. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church, in Fort Wayne with the Rev. Stan Holdeman officiating.
Burial will be at Green Lawn Mausoleum, Frankfort,
