!OBITUARY; South Bend Times; 5 Mar 1951, page 7. Mrs. Katherine Beach, age 72, of Cleveland, Ohio, formerly of South Bend, died there Sunday morning after two days illnes with a heart ailment. She was born in Poland and resided here until 1928. She was married in 1900 to Martin Beach, who preceded her in death. She leaves two sons, Edward of Cleveland and William with the Army in Germany; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Rinehart of New York City, Mrs. Lillian Strong in who's house she died and Mrs. Jeanette Richmond of Lakewood, OH; and two sisters Mrs. Margaret Kimball of Lafayette, IN and Mrs. Mary Van Burger, South Bend. Funeral services will take place in Cleveland, Tuesday morning, then the body will be brought here to Mr. Gann Funeral Home. Friends may call there after 8 p. m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Wednesday.
