MRS. KATHERINE REFFNER
Of Roots Crossing, died early yesterday morning in Mercy Hospital after an extended illness. She was born in Altoona on March 13, 1902, a daughter of Mary Yingling and George H. Cromer, and in April 1925, in Cumberland, Md., married Harry C. Reffner. Surviving are three children, George and Fremont of Roots Crossing and Isabel Colledge of Aurora, Colo.; eight grandchildren, including Betsy Reffner, who was reared in the home; four brothers and a sister, William and Fremont of Wehnwood, George of Pittsburgh, Charles of Freehold, N.J., and Mrs. Anna Whittaker of Altoona. She was a member of the Juniata E.U.B. Church. Friends will be received in the Russin Funeral Home, Bellwood, after 7 p.m. today.

REFFNER -- Services for Mrs. Katherine Reffner of Tyrone, RD 2, Roots Crossing, will be held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Russin Funeral Home, Bellwood, by the Rev. Donald Ciampa. Interment in Grandview Cemetery. Friends will be received in the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
