Cynthia Bogdonoff Wheeler remembers that "Aunt Kittie" was very striking, and fought to have things her way.

1930 census says that she was first married at age 17 (c. 1913). But clearly she wasn't married to Wolf at this time (she's single in 1920 census, living with her family). That is when Harold was born... Question is: was she really ever married to Harold's father? And if so, who was he? Harold never went by any other name than Bogdonoff.

Obituary 23 Jan 1984 (local Lowell, MA paper?) Katherine Wolf... had worked at Lemkin's Mrs. Katherine B. (Bogdonoff) Wolf, 91, a resident of Lowell the greater part of her life, residing at 42 South Walker St., died today at St. John's Hospital. She was the widow of Joseph B. Wolf. She was born in Liverpool, England, March 7, 1892, daughter of the late Benjamin and Leah (Alper) Bogdonoff. She was one of the oldest members of the Montefiore Synagogue of Lowell. For many years she was a bookkeper at the former Depot Cash Market and later worked at the Lemkin's womens apparel store. Mrs. Wolf is survived by a son, Harold B. Bogdonoff, of fiskdale, Mass.; two grandsons, Benjamin M. Bogdonoff, of Fisksale, Mass. and Peter Pumiglia, Jr., of Orlando, FL.
