Justina was 13 years old when she got married to Antonio who was 33. She met him in a convent. She had her first child at 16. Justina was shabbily treated by Hipolita (mother in law) because she was part Oriental. She did not speak spanish at that time and spoke only chinese,french and portuguese. Because of the way Justina was treated she did not want to go to Spain and thus were deported to Ponape,Caroline Islands. Perico,Manuela and Joaquin were born there thus "chamorros" by birth. Adela died in Ponape. Justina died in her house in Callejon Gregorio Villa,Pennyslvania Malate.
