Herbert Everson worked as a carriage painter. He did the fancy letteri ng on carriages. When Syrena was about sixteen years old, her father ga ve her sister, Lillian, a check and told her to go buy gold leaf so he cou ld finish a job and get paid. Lillian took Syrena into town with her a nd cashed the check. She talked Syrena into going to New Hampshire with h er. After a week, Syrena said they should be going home. Lillian stay ed in New Hampshire. Upon returning home, Syrena'sfat her made no menti on of the incident. Not long after, Lillian returned home. She had appar ently been working as a chambermaid. She was pregnant and subsequently h ad a son named Forrest. Within the next year or two, Lillian starts dati ng Louie Haskell. She introduces him to her sister, Syrena. They start d ating and eventually marry. Louie Haskell's father, Lewis Alton Haskel l, somehow starts dating Lillian Everson. They have two children: Melv in and Herschel. Lillian and Lewis subsequently divorce. Lillian Evers on marries Carl Anderson, who worked on the Sagamore and Bourne Bridge s. ???fought in the Spanish-American War References
