    Mrs. Milton C. Whitford, a life long resident of Rock County, died suddenly at 7 p.m. Friday in her home in Milton. She was formerly Miss Myrtie Julia Dunwell, daughter of Oliver and Nellie Dunwell, and was born August 20, 1872 in Orfordville.
    Myrtie Dunwell was married June 19, 1897 to M. C. Whitford and they made their home in Milton. Mrs. Whitford's quiet way and her devotion to her home were expressive of her sweet disposition. Her husband died suddenly two years ago.
    Mrs. Nellie Dunwell, Milton, her mother, survives together with one son, William O. Whitford, Janesville, one daughter, Mrs. Arthur Jones, Janesville, three brothers, Harry Dunwell, Milton Junction, Ray Dunwell, Boy River, Minn., and William H. Dunwell, Riverside, California.
    The Rev. A. L. McClelland, Rosendale, Wis., conducted the funeral services at 2:30 p.m. Monday in the home in Milton. Burial was in the Milton Cemetery.
    The pallbearers were Dr. W. Swaney, Milwaukee, George Monks, Rockford, Dr. F. C. Binnewies, Janesville, and Glenn Howe, Orfordville.
