Judith Ann Burton, 67, of Hot Springs, Ark., passed away peacefully Saturday, Aug. 7, 2010. Judy was born in Postville, Iowa, to Kenneth Albert Holly and Helen Marie (Trappe) Holly. Judy is survived by her father, Kenneth Holly; and her sister, Nancy Holly Steinke of Cedar Rapids. Judy is also survived by her son, Clayton Burton, his wife Sharon Smallwood Burton; and Judy's only grandchild, Brooke Elizabeth Burton of Brandon, Miss. Judy was preceded in death by her grandparents, her mother and her son, Kent. Judy graduated from Washington High School in Cedar Rapids, with many honors. She was active in the American Red Cross and worked as a lifeguard for several summers. Judy attended the University of Iowa and married Lynn Burton. They had two sons, Clayton and Kent.
