    [Note: Newbury records clearly show that John had two sons named Joshua: first born 17 Feb 16[51/]52, d. 7 Apr 1652, and second born 20 Apr 1657. The birthdate given here is clearly a misinterpretation of the birth of the first son that died young, and is incorrect.]
