MANCHESTER, Iowa - Joseph Robert Tinker, 70, of Manchester, died Tuesday morning, Dec. 23, 2003, at Good Neighbor Home, Manchester, following a brief illness. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Manchester, with Monsignor Ralph Simington officiating. The body will be cremated following the services. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home and Crematory, Manchester, where there will be a rosary service at 4 p.m. Friends also may call after 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the church. Surviving are his siblings, Mary Ellen Capesius, of La Motte, Philip Tinker, of Coggon, Francis "Frank" (Shirley) Tinker, of Sun Prairie, Wis., and John "Jack" (Gladys) Tinker, of Manchester; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Thomas.
