Joseph Simkins was baptised on 29th January 1792 at Marston Moretaine in Bedfordshire, son of Elizabeth Simkins, formerly Hudson, and her husband Thomas Simkins. Sadly Joseph died less than a year after his baptism, being buried on 2nd November 1792.
