Deed: Thomas Wilson to Joseph Pullen, 1 Oct 1799, Rockbridge Co, Virginia. I don't know how many acres this is for, but it is in Deed Book D page 153

Just as an interesting fact - Thomas Wilson deeded land to Elijah Vansandt on 6 Jan 1795 (Deed Book C page 118). Per "A History of Methodism in Rockbridge County, Virginia", by Albert M. Cupp; Chapters 11 - 20, William Pullen (tentative son to Joseph) purchased this land at a later date, a portion of which was given to build a church today known as the Mt. Horeb Methodist Church.

• Treasury Warrant 22214: 83 acres on Buffaloe Creek, 20 May 1804, Rockbridge Co, Virginia. The warrant was sealed/signed on 17 Aug 1805 in Richmond.

• Census: Probably Joseph - the first name is smeared, 1810, Rockbridge Co, Virginia. 1 male > 45 (Joseph), 1 female >45 (Nancy), 2 males 10-15, 2 males 16-25, 1 female <10, 2 females 16-25 - maybe some of these are grandchildren

• Land Sale: 176 acres on Buffalo Creek, 5 Jun 1818, Rockbridge Co, Virginia. For $250, Joseph Pullen and Nancy his wife of Botetourt to Joseph Cloyd. On Waters of Buffalo Creek, adjoining Joshua Vansandt, Samuel Weightman heirs, William Hall. Same tract conveyed by David Kingan to Joseph Pullen. [gives metes and bounds]
