Joseph brought his family to Pennsylvania on Sept. 16, 1736 via the ship Princess Augustus. The ship's record book showed that Joseph Noel was 56 years old, which translates into a birthyear of 1680. It is believed that Joseph Noel died in 1753 because one of his younger sons was bound out in 1754.
