Use of the name La Page appears to be an anomaly, showing up only in the 1914 marriage of a granddaughter and the 1930 census. Earlier and later records (including gravestones) use La Rock. There appears to be no evidence that Joseph used the name La Page (although there is a good chance he spelled the name La Roque.)
