KIFER- Joseph A, 82 years old, died at his home in Penn township, at 5 o'clock Sunday morning. Mr. Kifer has lived in the same district for the past 50 years. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Ida Remaley Kifer; four sons, Homer C Kifer, of Manor; Joseph H Kifer, of Pitcairn; William A Kifer, of Irwin and Simon E Kifer, of Pitcairn, and four daughters, Mrs. R.E. Bushyager, of Oakmont; Mrs. M.J. Raymaley, of Export; Mrs. Charles Lauffer, of Norvelt, and Mrs. James B. Wolfe, of Greensburg, R.D.3. Eighteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, John L. Kifer, of Jeannette, and Simon Kifer of Irwin, and a sister, Mrs. Sarah J. Wagoner, of Wilkinsburg, also survive. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock EST Tuesday afternoon at his home one-half mile north of Harrison City. Rev. J.F. Smeltzer, pastor of the Harrison City Reformed Church, of which Mr. Kifer was a member will be in charge, Interment will be made in the Brush Creek cemetery. J.F.
