BIOGRAPHY: Capt. Joseph Kinne, brother of , DEACON THOMAS KINNE, was the son of Thomas, SR. & ELIZABETH (KNIGHT) KINNEY of Salem, Mass. He was Capt. of the 2nd Co. or trainband in Preston during the Indian Wars. His farm adjoined the farm of his brother, THOMAS. Capt. Joseph married KEZIAH PEABODY in June 28, 1704 in Salem, Mass. They were the parents of at least 12 children.
