Cutler admitted to the guild of white bakers in 1629. Once thought to be the immigrant Joseph Jenks, but information about the ages of the two is inconsistent, and administration of this Joseph's estate was given to his widow Mary in 1642. It is likely however that the men are half-brother's, as both are sons of cutler John Jenks.
