We, and each of us, hereby waive the benefit of our several Homestead Exemptions as to this obligation or bond, [handwritten insertion not readable]. Sealed with our seals, and dated this 20th day of April in the year one thousand eight hundred and eighty five. The Condition of the above Obligation is, Whereas the above bound Joseph V Horton has this day been appointed by the Circuit Court of Carroll County, administrator of William R Goad deceased; Now, if the said Joseph V Horton shall faithfully discharge the duties of his office or trust as administrtor of the said William R Goad deceased, then the above obligation is to be void, lese to remain in full force and virtue. At a Circuit Court for Carroll County, held on the 20th day of April, 1885: The foregoing bond being signed, sealed and acknowledged by Joseph V Horton and Isaac Webb the obligors therein, was ordered to be recorded.
