From Michigan Weather 1888: This is the sixth and final year of a protracted cool spell with consistently below normal temperatures for all of Michigan. Pinckney Dispatch Obit 3-15-1888 Mr. J.W. Graham died at his home at 134 8th Street in Detroit of an unknown disease of the stomach on Sunday morn age nearly 34. Funeral on Tuesday, brought by train to Pinckney for burial from his father-in-law's home, A.B. Green. Nearly five years ago, Mr. Graham married Estella Green of Pinckney and they soon moved to Detroit where he worked in C.P. Collin's Cigar Factory. He was a member of the Cigar Maker's Union. He leaves a wife and two small children. Pinckney Dispatch Obit 5--23-1889 An infant child of L.J. Graham (sic.), of Shepard, died at that place on Sunday of last week. Mr. and Mrs. Graham were former residents of this village. |
