14 Apr 1718: Bond of Rebecca Corning Wido of Joseph Corning as Administratrix of her husband Joseph Corning Late of Beverly Cooper Dec'd Intestate. 20 May 1718: Inventory of Mr Joseph Corning Late of Beverly Cooper Deceased 22 Nov 1723: Appraisal of real estate of Joseph Corning and set off one third to his widow Rebekah Corning alias Cleves; also divided personal estate giving one third to "Rebekah Corning alias Cleves", and rest into six shares: two to "John Corning Gardian to the elder son", two to "Richard Ober Gardian to the second son and Elder daughter", two to "John Cleves Gardian to the youngest son and youngest daughter". 17 Mar 1723/4: "Then John Cleves in behalf of his wife Rebekah adm's'trix to the Estate of her late Husband Joseph Corning Late of Beverly Deceased Reck[o]ned with John Corning and Richard Ober gardians to three of the Children of s'd Deceased Refering to the Incum of said Estate ..." 15 Jan 1728: Division of real estate of Joseph Corning into 4 parts, No. 1 & 3 to Joseph Corning, No. 2 to Nehemiah Corning, No. 4 to Josiah Corning. 19 Mar 1730/31 Quitclaim of Josiah Corning of Beverly Taylor for £6 to Joseph Corning of Beverly Cooper of right and interest in house and barn in Beverly "that was my Fathers viz Joseph Corning Late of Sd Beverly Cooper Deceased". 25 Jun 1733: Received by Joseph Corning as guardian to his sister Martha Corning from brother Josiah Corning of Norwich in the "Colany of Coneticut" Taylor, in full of her portion of the estate of father Joseph Corning Late of said Beverly. [Blank date in 1729/30, acknowledged 6 Feb 1729/30]: Nicholas Groves of Beverly Coaster and Hannah Corning alias Groves the now wife of the said Nicholas she being the Daughter of Joseph Corning Late of said Beverly Cooper Deceased, for £137-7-7 from brother Joseph Corning of Beverly Cooper, acknowledge full receipt of Hannah's full portion of her father's estate and quitclaim further right.
