His will was dated 29 Dec 1688 and probated 23 Feb 1689, and names wife Margaret, sons Richard and Joseph, daughters Elizabeth and Rebecca sons-in-law (stepsons) Joseph Brown and James Clifford all children minors Margaret, maiden name unknown, clearly married 1) Brown, 2) Clifford before married to Joseph Isaac. Margaret and Joseph Isacke's oldest child, Elizabeth, was b. abt 1677-78

Indenture 13 June 1701 Between Henry Darnall of Prince George's County, Province of Maryland, Gent, as agent for for the Right Honorable Charles Lord Baron of Baltimore etc. and Joseph Brown of Said County Planter for the sum of 4 pounds lawful money of England and the rents hereinafer mentioned devise, grant, let and affirm Land in the western Branch Manner in Prince George's Count Beginning at the NW corner tree of Charles Walkers Land being a white Oake running thence west 160 perches to a bounded hickory then south 200 perches to a bounded white oake standing by a brnch then East 160 perches to a line of Jame Millikins Land then in a straight line by Millican and Walkers land to the first bound Containing 200 acres more or less to Joseph Brown his Executors Admin and assigns During the lifetime of Joseph Brown now living and during the lifetime of Ann Brown his wife now living and during the lifetime of Sarah Brown their daughter now living and paying therefore yearly during their lifetimes rent of 20 shillings and 2 capons at the Feast of Nativity of our Blessed Lord and Savior and they will plant an orchard of 400 aples and improvements of fences and enclosures maintained in good repair Signed Hanry Darnall Witnesses Clement Hill Jr, Henry Darnall Jr.
