In his will of 24 Apr. 1706, mentions and provides for w. Esther; also for his four sons and four dau's, and naming the sons but not the dau's. 'Bricklayer.' Constable, from 1675 to 1678, inc. Selectman, 1671,1677, 1684, and 1692. Was appointed sexton of the parish in 1673, and served in this capacity until the new meeting-house was erected. Resided on the paternal homestead, South St."
