Jordan Epperson lived in Fayette County, Kentucky.
There were a David Apperson (5 Whites, 0 Dwellings, 5 Other Buildings), and James Epperson (8 White Souls, 0 Dwellings, 2 Other Buildings) listed in the 1785 Reconstructed Census of Albemarle County, Virginia that may be candidates as the father of this Jordan Epperson (More research necessary).
Unproven as of yet to be the direct ancestor of our Jordan Epperson (Rebecca Gabbert wife). This info based on email from Caren at cmgaffney@@comcast.net, Silver Spring, Md. 8/1/07. She says, "I am fairly confident Jordan is the descedant of Richard and Susannah Epperson of Albemarle County VA (early 1700s). However, am uncertain which of their 2 sons heads this lineage, ie Francis or John ... albeit I believe it is John given probate records of Altha/Attha Eperson in Indiana."
