He was admitted to Rowley Church, 10 June, 1683; his wife was admitted 20 July, 1690. They were dismissed, 13 Oct., 1706, to the church in Byfield Parish. His will, dated 12 Aug., 1720, proved 31 Oct., 1720, mentions himself as of Byfield; wife, Mary; sons Jonathan, James, and Moses; daughters Sarah, wife of Jonathan Bradstreet, Mary, wife of John Hopkinson, and Mehitable Wheeler (Essex Probate, 313:205).
