David (Wheeler), b. about 1627; m. in Newbury, May 11, 1650, Sarah Wise; lived in Rowley by 1669. According to Judge Savage he did not accompany his parents to New England but came on the Confidence in 1638, aged 11. His name does not appear on the published passenger list of that ship, however.

215. David Wheeler, son of John1 of Newbury, was born in Salisbury, England, 1625, and came from Hampton to Newbury, 1645 (Coffin). Sept., 1646, he was presented to the court for gathering peas on the Sabbath Day; he was then styled "of Hampton" (Essex Ct. R.). He married in Newbury, 18 June, 1650, Sarah, daughter of Humphrey Wise of Ipswich. He moved to Rowley before 1670 and was admitted to Rowley Church, 7 May 1669.
