From Beers "History of Warren Co", 1882, p. 284: "After the admission of Ohio into the Union, Congress applied 3% of sale of public lands to construction of roads, under direction of the state legislature. Roads receiving benefit of this fund in 1820 was one from Lebanon to Hamilton, $75.00, by Jonathan Tullis, Commissioner."

Deed book D-202, Champaign Co, OH: "Jan 8, 1818, Jonathan Tullis Sr and wife Nancy sold to Jonathan Tullis, Jr, 91-1/2 acres of land lying between the Miami Rivers, amount $400.00"

=======

Jonathan died intestate circa 1831, but the court ordered probate of his estate on June 4, 1831, listing his heirs as follows: Ezra, Harvey, Jonathan Jr, and John W., sons; Peter Sewell (widower of a deceased daughter), and Solomon Weston (not identified, but perhaps a second son-in-law).

=======

Jonathan is probably buried in Red Lion Cemetery with wife, Nancy, but no stones for either can now be located. ("Descendants of Moses Tullis, Sr, and Thomas Little" by Lawrence and Emily Tullis Little, 1972, p. 2. DAR Library.) Note that these authors only show Nancy Dark as a wife of Jonathan.
