Origins

Dunstable, MA, Town History 1873 says this about him: "Jonathan Taylor was descended from William Taylor, who came from England," additional clue that his father, Abraham, was son of William, the emigrator.

Marriage Discrepancy

A number of GEDCOMs on WorldConnect (all citing LDS Ancestral files), claim he married second 1724 Abigail Brown, but the Dunstable VR clearly identify the mother of his children, post 1724, as Hannah.

Life in Dunstable

Moved to Dunstable with brother Abraham (Jr) around the time of his marriage (i.e., about 1720).

Moved to Dunstable by 25 Oct 1718, at which time he is listed as one of the proprietors (as "John" Taylor) with brother Abraham of a farm that was divided by many families into plots. (History of the Town of Dunstable, p8.)

Was on the Dunstable tax list as late as 1744 (ibid, p 76).

Death

Neither his nor his wife's death is found in the Dunstable VR.
