    June 16, 1691, Jonathan Sawtel, of Groton, aged 15 yrs., chose his uncle Abraham Holman, to be his guardian.
    [Note: the docket for Jonathan Sawtell (the father) says "See also Miscellaneous Index & Records Pages 344 & 345". This has not been seen, but possibly may be where this information comes from. There does not appear to be any guardian documents in file 19962 (father's probate) nor any probate file dedicated to the son's guadianship. He may have died by 1702 when his sisters appear to sell some of the father's land without any participation by Jonathan (Middlesex deed Vol. 13, p. 197).]
