Notes from Linda Peling Alessio: "When I, Linda this researcher, met Morley (as people call him) I was struck by the amazing resemblence to my own father, Lewis Earl Peling; the way he looked, held his hands, the proud way he held his head. He had had a stroke early this year but still seemed to be sharp to me. He was in his work shop where he refinishes furniture when we met in July, 2001. He was using a walker to move around; his knees not working since the stroke. He said that he had some other old fellows come in to do the work these days. He livees in Bloomfield, Prince Edward Co., Ontario, Canada and is the oldest resident born in the area at 93 years old."
