Recorded destruction of Springfield by the Indians in 1675, the only record of the event existing. One of signers of a paper granting land in the plantation. On 11/3/1657, became one of five Selectmen.

Jonathan was the only son of Henry Burt who continued a resident of Springfield until his death[4].
