Johannes and Catherine born in German, His will went on for 8 years from 1841 till 1848. Johannes and family arrived in the New World at the Phil. PA port in 1796 at the age of 27 years old . They sailed from Hamburg, Germany to America on the ship "Harmony" July 25, 1976 . with Captain James Moore. Three children came with them, Catherine, John, Hannah . Catherine was seven months pregnant with Eleanor. From the Phil Port they moved on to Pike Co., OH. Then moved to Edger, Il, where he is buried, They had 17 childrens.
