John Winters was baptised on 18th May 1783 at Nettleden in Hertfordshire, son of Ann Winters, formerly Rickard, and her husband John Winters. The couple had buried an unbaptised daughter less than two months earlier, suggesting that either John was the surviving child of twins, or that John was an older child when baptised.

John has yet to be researched after his baptism.
