William Wilson, father of nine sons and two daus., came to America in 1737. He married
Elizabeth Blackburn. There has been several historians in the family. C. J.
Maxwell printed a book in 1943 in which he listed over 7000 descendants of William,
the immigrant, in which he listed the descendants of all eleven children. The
Author lists 3100 descendants of John, the fifth son of William, plus early Wilson
history plus early histories of related families, which had not been published before.
