John Henry Willich (half brother to Dorothy and Anna Martha) was born in Krassel, Germany on March 5, 1879. Baby of 13 (some half brothers and sisters) left home at age 17 and joined the German Merchant Marines. He came to the U.S. by way of Boston. He married Rebecca Lloyd in 1918. Rebecca was born in England. They had 2 children. Betty, Mrs. Marty Berl, was born in Oakland, California in 1919. She presently lives in Memphis, Tennessee. Betty and Marty have retired in Ringgold, Georgia. Jack was born in Chicago in 1925.

Alfred Willich (John's first born by his first wife) was raised in Chebanse. Alfred died of luekemia during the 1940's.
