The will of John Widener(wf. Rachel DeBusk) who d. 1865 in Washington Co, VA. lists his sons, Elias, Jacob, Abraham and Isaac; daughters Catherine Rosenbalm and Margaret Edmondson; the children of his son George (not individually named); the children of his son Jonas (Mary, Margaret, Wm. Lane and Acy) and his grandchildren John McClure, Abraham, Rachel and Ann McClure. Does anyone know the name of the Widener daughter who was the mother of the McClure children? Marriage records list a Catherine Widener who married a James McClure in 1853; however, John and Rachel's daughter Catherine was already married to Isaac Rosenbalm by then. Can anyone help?
