March 2003 email from Juanita (Whisamore) Smith ([email protected]) advised that she was the daughter Thomas Whisamore, son of John W.S. and Rachel Wisamore (that John was a brother of Thomas H. Whisamore, father of Maggie Bell). She lives in N. Chicago with her daughter part of the year and other parts of the year in her apartment at Welch, OK (5 miles from Blue Jacket where Thomas H. and Mary C. Whisamore lived and raised children in their later years). Thomas and Mary died before her time, but she knew Maggie and Maggie's brother George very well. Her addresses are: Juanita Smith, 5647 RFD Long Grove, IL 60047 and PO Box 103, Welch, OK 74369. I added John W.A. to my file based upon this report, considering it to be adequately accurate. Juanita continues to research Whisamore data and planning a research trip east in April. April 2002 Juanita send photocopy of part of 1905 Labette Co., KS Hackberry census D220 F220 (next door to Thomas H. Whisamore family) that shows J. W. Whisamore, age 27 b. MO, Rachel, 20b. MO; Augusta (male), 8 mo., b. MO. (and perhaps more on original uncopied). I used this date to estimate his birth year and to add his birth state. .
