NYG&BS "The Record" Vol 58, April 1927, pg 106: "John Tredwell of Hempstead, eldest son and heir at law to Thomas Tredwell late of Hempstead, dec'd., to Thomas Tredwell and Timothy Tredwell, the younger sons of the afore said Thomas Tredwell, land in Harrisons Purchase in Rye purchased from Silas Titus and Sarah his wife, June 18, 1722."
