Facts and Events
John married 8 May 1804, Abigale (Nabby) Merriam. They had one daughter, Nabby[1]. He was a hatter by trade. Nabby died before 1815 and John married a second time to Mary Weld Ward, 9 Mar 1815[1]. It appears he and first his wife were living with his brother, Jonas, and his wife in 1810[3]. In 1820 the household has two daughters, his wife and himself[4]. He still has the same number in his household in 1830, 2 daughters, his wife and himself[4]. He died about 1844.
