    John Rogers, his wife and family requested a Certificate of Membership to transfer from Gwynedd Monthly Meeting, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania to Hopewell Monthly Meeting in Frederick County, Virginia on 25 September 1744. John was deceased before 3 May 1763 when the inventory of his estate was returned to Frederick County Court by his wife Elinor Rogers and his son Evan Rogers.
