  8. About 1931, the family moved to Lancaster Road. John purchased a store but it was during the depression and they couldn't make a living at it. His daughter, Naomi mentioned that John had another job on W. Commerce St. and Roxie would drive him over there on the days she needed to keep the car. Roxie would run the store while he worked elsewhere.
