John W. Queen, Jr. conscripted 3/25/1862, in Macon County, NC at age 45. Sent to hospital in Atlanta, GA on 1/19/1863, and returned to duty after 2/28/1863. Sent to Lumpkin Hospital in Rome, GA on 4/27/1863, where he died of erysipelas on 6/3/1863
