[edit] Land Acquisition in Virginia5 March 1727 - Thomas Chew deeded 614 acres in Spotsylvania Co., VA to John Penn and George Penn "of Parish of Drysdale and County of King and Quenn" on the Mattapony River (aka Warner's River) adjacent to Robert Hutcheson, Augustine Smith (aka Augustine Warner), Col. Alexander Spotswood's land, Nicholas Hawkins. Witnesses were William Johnson, John Penn and James Taylor.
