"In my article upon Dr. Richard Palgrave in The American Genealogist for April 1942 I stated that his son, John, died s. p. This is not correct. He had issue a daughter Arabella, who died young on 9 Sept. 1661, after her mother Mary (Maverick) had remarried Francis Hooke of Kittery (cf. New Eng. Hist. Gen. Reg. Vol. XVII, p. 330; Boston Births. Baptisms, Marriages and Deaths 1630-1699, p. 80). As this daughter died in infancy, no great harm is done, however. ─ G. Andrews Moriarty.
