Facts and Events
[edit] Her Life as a Widow"(Richard Palgrave's) widow Anna returned to England, perhaps by 23 May 1655 (Mass. Col. Rec., vol. III, p. 377) and certainly before 17 March 1655/6 when she was residing in Stepney Parish, London, probably with her daughter Elizabeth who had married before her father made his will, John Edwards, the elder, of Green Bank in Stepney (THE REGISTER, vol. CCCVIII, p. 80). Anna subsequently came back to New England and resided in Roxbury, Mass., near or with the family of her daughter Sarah, who had married Dr. John Alcock of that town (THE REGISTER, vol. XCVII, p. 12). The will of 'Ann Palgrave of Roxbury, Relict of Richard Palgrave formerly of Charlestown', dated 11 March 1668/9, was proved 13 May 1669 (THE REGISTER, vol. XIX, p. 307)."[3] References
